Job summary

ACG Strathallan College, part of Inspired Education, seeks a Primary Physical Education Teacher for Years 1–6 in a Cambridge-based program. The role is a permanent position starting Term 1, 2027, located in South Auckland.

The successful candidate will deliver differentiated PE lessons, coach sport teams, and contribute to pastoral care and school life, within a supportive team. Experience with Cambridge International and NZ teacher registration with BA and/or MBA is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Physical Education to primary years.
• Ability to plan/deliver differentiated PE lessons.
• Experience assessing progress and providing feedback.
• Strong classroom management and relationship-building.
• Experience coaching school sports and leading teams.
• Experience contributing to school life through activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons for Years 1–6 aligned with Cambridge.
• Foster inclusive, positive learning environments and wellbeing.
• Assess and report student progress to students and parents.
• Lead extracurricular activities, events, and pastoral duties.
• Coach school sports teams and promote participation and teamwork.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance pedagogy and outcomes.
• Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and professional standards.
