Job summary

New Zealand Venue Co. is seeking multiple Duty Managers to join our Wellington venues. This full-time role supports day-to-day operations and collaborates with the venue manager to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

You will lead on shift, manage a small team, and contribute to marketing initiatives and events. The position offers a competitive hourly wage between $25 and $35 per hour, with ongoing career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service, hospitality or events.
• Excellent customer service and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a team and lead from the front.
• Flexible availability to work rostered shifts, Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Venue Management to support marketing and events.
• Drive positive customer experiences through events and activations.
• Lead and provide feedback to shift staff and manage team on shift.
• Ensure OH&S compliance and cash, labour, and end-of-day reporting.
