Job summary

Waipapa Pine, part of Fletcher Building, seeks a Production (Drymill) Supervisor to lead the Drymill team at Waipapa site in a permanent, full-time role. Monday to Friday, 45 hours, focusing on safety, quality and operational excellence to meet production targets.

Reporting to the Secondary Processing Manager, you will coach and develop the team, drive continuous improvement, ensure training and compliance, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to achieve site objectives and

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams in a supervisory level within manufacturing or production environments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and develop people at all levels.
• Genuine commitment to health and safety leadership and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Drymill production team to achieve safety, quality and production targets.
• Foster a culture where people feel engaged, supported and accountable.
• Champion health and safety initiatives and promote continuous improvement across operations.
• Ensure team members are trained, competent and working safely.
• Monitor production performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to meet site objectives.
• Support workforce planning, coaching and performance management.
