Job summary

Bidfresh Wellington is seeking a reliable Driver to service the greater Wellington region, including Kapiti Coast and Upper Hutt, seven days a week. You will be the face of Bidfresh to customers, starting early at 5am, with a rotating weekend roster and a clean, well-maintained vehicle.

We value someone physically fit, with a can-do attitude, and a willingness to learn other parts of the business such as picking and packing. A valid Class 1 licence is required; Class 2 is a plus.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to work early mornings on a rotating roster.
• Honest and reliable with a 'can do' attitude.
• Knowledge of Wellington streets and ability to use Google Maps.
• A clean driver's licence - Class 1 (Class 2 would be a plus).

Responsibilities

• Deliver deliveries across the greater Wellington region, including Kapiti Coast and Upper Hutt area.
• Be the face of the company to customers and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Assist with picking and packing as needed.

Bidfresh is Wellington's leading wholesale produce supplier based in Grenada North up where the produce markets are located. We are seeking to employ a Driver who has/have a good geographical knowledge of the greater Wellington region as we deliver as far as the Kapiti Coast and Upper Hutt area seven days per week. You will need to be physically fit and enjoy being "out and about" making deliveries and being the "face" of the company to our customers. Bidfresh Wellington is part of a large New Zealand company with more than 2,500 employees and growing!

Key attributes we are looking for:

Physically fit and active with a 'can do' attitude and likes to get the job done.

• MUST be available to work a rotational roster including weekend days. Two rostered days off per week.
• Enjoy early mornings starting at 5am.
• Ability to "think", honest and reliable.
• Take pride in your work and vehicle.
• Have a clean drivers licence - Class 1 Class 2 would be a plus
• Knowledge of street addresses in the Wellington region. Ability to use Google maps is useful too.
• Willingness to learn other aspects of the business eg. picking and packing.
