Job summary

WM New Zealand in Christchurch (Bromley) is seeking a Class 5 Driver to join our hands-on team. You will operate a vehicle and equipment to ensure safe, timely collection while interacting with customers in a friendly, professional manner.

Qualifications

• A clean and up-to-date New Zealand Class 5 driver's license.
• Experience in transport, waste, industrial services, or a similar hands-on role.
• Physically fit and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
• Flexibility to undertake out-of-town travel as part of the role.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Strong time management skills.
• Good people skills and a customer-first attitude.

About the role

We're looking for a Class 5 Driver to join our team in Christchurch (Bromley). In this hands-on role, you are responsible for operating a vehicle and equipment on board to ensure a safe and timely collection of our service.You need to be customer focused and enjoy interacting with various people.

You'll already know the importance of health and safety in the workplace, and you'll champion our culture of making sure everyone gets home safely.
