Job summary

Higgins, the Green Team at Tauranga, is seeking permanent, full-time Class 4 & 5 Drivers to join the Operations team. You’ll be driving heavy vehicles, loading and transporting mobile plant, and supporting roading and civil construction projects across the region.

We offer a competitive hourly rate with a guaranteed 40 hours per week, ongoing training, and opportunities to gain additional licences. A safety-first culture and teamwork are at the heart of our approach.

Qualifications

• Safety-first attitude for yourself, your team, and the public.
• Full clean Class 4 or Class 5 driver’s licence (WTR endorsement preferred).
• Previous experience driving heavy vehicles in a similar role.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Flexible, committed and reliable, with a willingness to work rain or shine.
• A passion for the industry and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and develop your skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive heavy vehicles including tip trucks and trailers.
• Load and transport mobile plant and materials as required.
• Support roading and construction projects across the region.

The Green Team at our Tauranga branch is looking for permanent, full-time Class 4 & 5 Drivers to join our Operations team.

As an experienced Driver, you'll be confident in a variety of driving situations, whether loading and transporting mobile plant, operating tip trucks and trailers, or supporting roading and construction projects across the region.
