Job summary

Winstone Aggregates are seeking Class 5 drivers to join our Cambridge region team. You will drive a truck and trailer, cart bulk aggregates, and ensure high-quality service. Training is provided and career development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 5 licence.
• Experience driving trucks with trailer units is preferred.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service while on site.
• Ability to safely perform vehicle checks and contribute to quality control.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck and trailer to cart bulk aggregates to customers in the Cambridge region.
• Demonstrate jackknifing, reversing and tipping skills where applicable.
• Liaise with dispatch to plan travel between sites and ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain bin cleanliness and quality control of delivered product.
• Deliver excellent customer service on site and during handover of goods.

Winstone Aggregates are looking for Class 5 drivers to join their team servicing our customers in the Cambridge region.

What will you be doing daily?

• Driving a truck and trailer unit carting bulk aggregates to customers in top quality trucks
• Jackknifing, reversing and tipping skills advantageous
• Providing excellent customer service when liaising with customers
• Quality control of delivered product – bin cleanliness is a must
• Efficiently planning your travel between sites having regular contact with dispatch
