Winstone Aggregates, part of Fletcher Building, is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to drive safer, smarter and more effective working methods across its nationwide operations.
You'll lead collaboration, coach leaders through change and translate insights into practical improvements that deliver long-term results for people, customers and the business.
For generations, Winstone Aggregates has played a vital role in shaping New Zealand's roads, infrastructure and communities. Today, we're focused on building an even stronger future through innovation, operational excellence and the talented people who make it happen.
Working across our nationwide operations, this is an opportunity to leave a lasting impact on one of New Zealand's most respected industrial businesses.
This is more than a continuous improvement role.
As our Operational Excellence Manager, you'll work alongside leaders across our quarry, transport, processing and laboratory operations to create safer, smarter and more effective ways of working.
You'll help teams unlock performance, simplify complexity and build capability that delivers long-term results for our people, customers and business.
Success in this role comes through collaboration rather than authority. You'll bring people together, use data to uncover opportunities, coach leaders through change and create practical solutions that make a real difference in the field.
Whether improving productivity, strengthening operational standards or embedding continuous improvement practices, your influence will be felt across the country.
You may come from manufacturing, logistics, construction materials, quarrying, engineering or another complex operational environment.
What matters most is your ability to connect people with improvement opportunities and turn ideas into meaningful outcomes.
You'll be a thoughtful and commercially minded leader with experience driving operational performance, leading change and helping teams build confidence in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or similar disciplines.
You'll enjoy coaching others, building strong relationships and translating insights into action.
At Winstone Aggregates, we're proud of where we've come from and excited about where we're going.
If you're motivated by helping people succeed, creating sustainable improvements and leaving operations stronger than you found them, we'd love to hear from you

We are proud of your diversity and see it as one of the things that make us stronger. We welcome your individuality and encourage you to bring your true self to work, so if this role is of interest but you feel you don’t fit it, we would still love you to apply.
