Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced Drainlayer or Drainage Labourer to join a well-established civil and drainage team servicing the North Shore and West Auckland.

You will install stormwater, wastewater and sewer pipelines, perform excavation and trench work, and support machine operators on varied residential and commercial projects. A strong focus on safety and teamwork is essential.

Immediate start available with weekly pay and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in drainage, civil, construction or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour.

Responsibilities

• Installation of stormwater, wastewater and sewer pipelines.
• Excavation and trench work.
• Pipe laying and drainage construction.
• Assisting machine operators and drainlayers.
• Reading and following site plans.
• Site preparation and reinstatement.
• General labouring duties as required.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy worksite.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
