Job summary

Animates Holdings NZ Ltd is seeking a dedicated Groomer for our busy Westgate Grooming Salon in Auckland. You will deliver grooming services to pets, maintain salon hygiene, and ensure a paw-some experience for customers and their furry friends.

With a focus on proper bathing, brushing, and cutting techniques across coat types, you will engage customers, grow a loyal client base, and uphold our high standards of care and service.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm and passion for the care and wellbeing of pets.
• 2+ years grooming experience in a high-volume salon.
• Friendly manner to engage customers and grow sales.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

This position is permanent, full-time, working 40 hours per week (Sundays to Thursdays), in our busy and vibrant Westgate Grooming Salon!

About the role:

You’ll provide a \"Paw-some Experience' to our customers and their furry friends by ensuring grooms are completed to the highest standard all whilstkeepingthe salon clean and hygienic.

With a large variety of grooming services available, it’s important you are confident with correct bathing, brushing, and cutting techniques for all coat types.

To be successful you'll need:

• Enthusiasm and passion for the care and wellbeing of pets


• Previous dog grooming experience (2+ years in a high-volume salon preferred)


• An exceptionally friendly manner to engage customers, build a regular client base and grow sales


• Excellent time management and communication skills


• High work standards and ethics
