Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Lakes invites applications for a District Nursing Registered Nurse based in Rotorua. The role involves daily community visits, care planning with patients and whānau, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Hold New Zealand Nursing Council registration (NCNZ).
• Hold a current Practising Certificate.
• Have a current driver's licence for both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Evidence of practicing at Level 3 of an approved PDRP programme.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessment, planning and implementation of care programmes.
• Conduct daily patient visits in the community with a holistic, person-centred approach.
• Document accurately and communicate with the healthcare team.
