HealthNew Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Ashburton is seeking a District Nurse to work autonomously and as part of a team with other district nurses.

Based at Ashburton Hospital, the role includes wounds care, IV antibiotics and palliative care, with travel across the Mid Canterbury region to care for diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC.
• Postgraduate clinical experience in community nursing desirable.
• Good communication skills, professional and high standards of presentation.
• Able and flexible to cover shifts across Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

Therole will include but is not limited to; wounds, intravenous antibiotics andpalliative care. Given the nature of the role you will be required to travelthroughout the Mid Canterbury region caring for patients with a variety ofnursing care needs.
