About the Role

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with experience working in the district nursing service within a Rural Hospital setting.

Are you looking for the opportunity to get into community work? Have you got a passion for wound care? Are you looking for a new challenge of caring for clients in their own home? We are looking for a registered nurse to join our dynamic Central & South Taranaki District Nursing team to provide outstanding care to our clients in the community. District Nursing is a diverse role working with clients in their own home. This role would suit someone with medical and surgical experience. As a district nurse you would be expected to undertake wound care, catheter care, medication administration and general health assessments. You need to have great communication skills, prioritisation skills and work collaboratively within a team.

This position that covers the duties Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.
