Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora invites applications for a District Nurse to join the Community Hamilton and Rural Team. The role covers both rural and urban bases, predominantly in Hamilton, with 7-day service and rostered weekends and on-call.
We seek an NZ-registered nurse with a current practicing certificate, a full NZ driver’s licence, and at least three years’ experience; ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with cultural sensitivity to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Qualifications
- Current NZ registered nurse practicing certificate.
- Full NZ driver’s licence with no restrictions.
- Minimum of three years’ nursing experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously with cultural sensitivity to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Wound management or district nursing experience is a plus.
