Job summary

Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu is seeking Kaiako - Learning Support for the Northern Region. The role focuses on ākonga with ORS supported learning needs, with mandatory office days in Auckland or Whangārei.

The successful candidate will plan and engage with ākonga, work with whānau in the home and community, and deliver online learning through our bespoke tools while supported by teacher aides.

Qualifications

• New Zealand teacher registration and a current practising certificate.
• Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and assessment practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and engage with ākonga at huinga ako and learning advisories.
• Work in the community and home with ākonga and whānau.
• Use Te Kura’s bespoke online learning tools to support learning and communication.
• Collaborate with colleagues and teacher aides to support ORS funded learners.
