Job summary

Hill Labs is seeking a Dispatch team member in Christchurch for a permanent, full-time role. It is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with full training provided.

You will liaise with couriers, customers and Client Services Managers, and manage inbound goods, stock levels and warehouse inventory including forklift use. The ideal candidate will have logistics/dispatch experience or be eager to learn, with strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to think on your feet, multitask and prioritise a range of different tasks and deadlines.
• Great communication skills, verbally and written.
• Ability to learn new processes quickly.
• Strong focus on customer service.
• Ability to work within a small team, but also autonomously.
• Basic Word & Excel skills.
• Must have a Full NZ Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with our courier service, customers and Client Services Managers
• Receiving/storing inwards goods
• Monitoring stock levels/restocking when required
• Warehouse inventory management (includes forklift use)
• Collecting samples from key clients as a part of our in-house courier service
