MASH Trust in Havelock North, New Zealand, is seeking a Support Worker for a fixed-term role from November 2026 to March 2028. You will provide person-centred support to people with disabilities, helping them stay independent and participate in everyday activities.

The role involves 80 hours per fortnight, shifts 6:45 am to 3:15 pm on a rotating roster, including weekends. A NZ Driver Licence is essential; training and funded qualifications are available for career development.

Qualifications

• Be patient, friendly and kind, with the ability to understand and connect with people.
• Demonstrate empathy with a person-centred approach and flexible mindset.
• Full NZ Driver Licence is essential for driving a MASH van.

Responsabilités

• Provide person-centred support to people with disabilities to maintain independence.
• Help participants participate in everyday activities and enjoy a meaningful quality of life.
• Cover a fixed-term period (Nov 2026–Mar 2028) within Disability Residential Team.
