Job summary

Gentrack is seeking a Director of Engineering APAC to shape how engineering operates across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and India. You’ll inherit senior teams and lead Engineering Managers and Enablement, setting priorities and delivering high-quality software at scale.

This role focuses on building leaders, improving delivery predictability, aligning with global strategy, and driving an AI-enabled future while balancing customer outcomes with technical health.

• Experience leading multi-team engineering organisations.
• Proven people leadership and change capability.
• Experience delivering enterprise software.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering across APAC with direct responsibility for Engineering Managers and Enablement.
• Develop leaders and teams with coaching and succession planning.
• Make engineering easier and more effective through better practices, tooling and onboarding.
• Lift delivery and engineering performance with data-driven improvements.
• Shape the organisation with evolving team structures and capability plans.
• Help lead our AI-enabled future across APAC.
