Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY

For your first six months, you will step in as Director, Marketing, owning the marketing function while our Global Director, Marketing is on parental leave.

You will run the plan, the team, and the day to day, keeping everything moving without missing a beat. You will also spend that time building a strong understanding of the business, our customers, our product, how the team works, and where the biggest opportunities sit in our growth marketing engine.

After the six-month parental leave cover, you will hand the function back and hit the ground running into the role of Director, Growth Marketing, reporting into the Global Director, Marketing, and owning growth as a function.

We are looking for someone who has already led a marketing function, maybe as a Head of Marketing or a Director, and knows what that looks like from the inside. It is a senior individual contributor role at a global, scaling company: full ownership of the paid acquisition and lifecycle engine, across segments, brands, and markets.

You will have marketing ops, rev ops, and AI engineering partners for infrastructure and modelling, and brand marketing will set the creative direction and narrative. Your job is to turn that direction into a closed-loop system, one that turns performance data into better creative, reallocates spend across channels, owns CRO, AEO/SEO, and lifecycle journeys, and compounds every result so nothing learned is ever lost.

If you want to build the growth engine for a global, scaling brand where you can make your mark and work alongside a team of ambitious people, this is the role.

What you'll be owning

A growth engine that compounds

Own the strategy, planning, and performance of paid acquisition and lifecycle marketing: search, social, display, and affiliate, plus the always-on and campaign-based programs that sit on top of them.

One direct report currently supports you across execution and optimisation on the tools.

A website and funnel that converts

You will inherit a site recently migrated to Webflow, already instrumented for testing and analysis, with Claude's MCP built into the stack, and you will keep building on that foundation.

Lead the CRO plan across landing pages and the wider site: structured experimentation, not one-off A/B tests.

Own the SEO/AEO strategy and content ops machine, already built and delivering 2.7x demo conversions on site and a 200% uplift in MQL ARR. You'll own the plan on how we double down on it further and report on that continued success, working with tools like AirOps, Webflow, Notion, Figma and Claude.

Own lifecycle journeys and marketing automation, partnering with marketing ops on tools like HubSpot and Outreach to build sequences and comms that are personalised and relevant, helping engage and convert prospects.

New growth routes

Find and test new channels and tactics as a route to both direct acquisition and broader visibility.

Own the shift from classic search to answer engines: target transactional keywords for Google, and structure content and citations so Re-Leased shows up in AI-generated answers, not just search results.

Build strategies that differ by geography, brand, and audience. Re-Leased and am:pm sit in different markets with different audiences, and your strategy should reflect that.

A scalable paid engine

Build the system that allocates spend, prioritise tests, and rotates out underperformers automatically.

Work with the Director Creative to build a self-improving creative engine: AI-driven ad generation, testing, and iteration that scales without scaling headcount, partnering with the Creative Director.

Own conversion signal quality end to end: the right events, the right audiences, the right attribution.

A clear view of what is working

Full line of sight on CAC, LTV, payback, conversion, and retention across your channels, and the forecasting and marketing mix decisions that go with them.

Automate performance reporting and alerting so your system flags problems, creative fatigue, CAC drift, payback issues, before anyone has to ask.

Build the dashboards and reporting that let you present results and next steps with confidence.

Work closely with our VP of Global Sales on pipeline metrics, with your finger on the pulse for MQLs, speed-to-lead, segmentation, and CRE fit.

Ensure insights from call transcripts, closed/lost analysis, and sales team input feed straight into marketing's learning loop, on what's working and what isn't, so that intelligence drives outcomes.

An AI-native testing system

Run agents and workflows that test creative, landing pages, offers, and lifecycle ideas every week, not every quarter.

Maintain a persistent knowledge layer so every experiment, result, and creative insight compounds automatically into the next cycle.

What you will bring

8+ years in performance, growth, or digital marketing, including experience leading a team.
