Job summary

The Salvation Army Wellington Bridge Centre seeks a Director to lead delivery of addiction services in Wellington, based in Newtown. You will drive strategic and operational management, quality improvements and robust stakeholder engagement to support vulnerable people.

The role is permanent/full-time, requires strategic leadership, strong governance, and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, with on-call duties as part of 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams in health/social services.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with funders, partners and communities.
• Experience managing budgets, risks and performance indicators.
• Strategic planning and implementing service improvements.
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally safe practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall operational and strategic management of the Wellington Bridge.
• Oversee safe and effective service delivery and quality improvement.
• Support staff wellbeing, development and workplace culture.
• Manage financial performance and occupancy/KPI targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with funders and referral agencies.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and governance requirements.
• Be on-call to support 24/7 service operations.
