Job summary

Encompass Education Hub in Wellington is seeking a passionate Digital Technologies teacher for Years 9–13 to join from the start of Term 1, 2027. You will teach Year 9-13 to NCEA Level 3 and work in a neuro-affirming, inclusive learning environment.

The school focuses on cross-curricular, project-based learning, whānau partnerships, and student agency, with a commitment to meeting every learner where they are.

Qualifications

• Current New Zealand teacher registration and a practising certificate.
• Experience with, or a strong commitment to, supporting autistic and neurodivergent learners.
• Knowledge of and experience in teaching the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA to Level 3.
• A collaborative, reflective approach and a passion for making learning meaningful and accessible.

Responsibilities

• Teach Year 9–13 to NCEA Level 3 with cross-curricular, project-based learning.
• Create safe, inclusive learning environments and foster student agency and authentic whānau partnerships.
