Job summary

Encompass Education Hub in Wellington invites a passionate Science teacher (all specialist areas considered) to join our team from the start of Term 1, 2027. We support neurodivergent learners with personalised pathways and strong relationships with whānau, in a collaborative, inclusive setting.

The role requires NZ teacher registration and a practising certificate, teaching Year 9–13 to NCEA Level 3, and a commitment to cross-curricular, project-based learning.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NZ teacher registration and practising certificate.
• Experience with autistic and neurodivergent learners.
• Knowledge of NZ Curriculum and NCEA to Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Teach science to Year 9–13 with NZ Curriculum alignment.
• Deliver cross-curricular, project-based learning.
• Create safe, inclusive learning environments and partner with whānau.
