Job summary

EB Developments Limited – Papamoa, North Island is seeking an experienced Digger Operator to join our team on a full-time basis, based out of Papamoa. The successful candidate will work across subdivision and building sites with regular travel to project sites throughout the North Island.

You will operate excavators on civil/earthworks, travel when required, and contribute to site safety while supporting general on-site tasks in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating excavators on civil/earthworks or construction sites.
• Full Class 1 driver’s licence is essential.
• Class 2 licence highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team.
• Able to be proactive, work autonomously and use initiative on site.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home.
• Good understanding of site safety practices.
• Willingness to perform general odd jobs between projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators on civil/earthworks or construction sites.
• Travel to project sites across the North Island and work away from home when required.
• Support site safety practices on all job sites.
• Assist with general site maintenance tasks between projects (sign erection, lawn mowing, maintenance, silt control).

EB Developments Limited is seeking an experienced and reliable Digger Operator to join our team on a full-time basis, based out of Papamoa, Bay of Plenty. The role requires the successful applicant to work across our subdivision and building sites, with regular travel to project sites throughout the North Island - so you'll need to be comfortable being away from home when required.

The successful applicant will have;

• Proven experience operating excavators on civil/earthworks or construction sites
• Full Class 1 driver's licence (essential)
• Class 2 licence highly regarded (not essential)
• A strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team
• Ability to be proactive and work autonomously and use initiative on site
• Flexibility and be comfortable travelling and working away from home
• A good understanding of site safety practices
• Willingness to help out with general odd jobs between projects (erecting signs, lawn mowing, general maintenance, silt control, etc.)
