Job summary

Salt is seeking a DevSecOps Leader to design and implement end-to-end DevSecOps and cloud automation solutions for our NZ team. You will mentor engineers, influence stakeholders, and drive best practices across Platform, Delivery, Testing, and Release functions.

The role includes hands-on work with Azure, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines, plus security tooling like Sonarqube, Mend, and Fortify. Flexible hybrid model in Auckland with 3 days in office.

Qualifications

• Looking for someone with DevSecOps Lead or Senior Platform Engineer/Lead or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Azure, Azure DevOps, and CICD pipelines & integrations.
• Familiarity with code quality, application security tooling, and security testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end DevSecOps and Cloud Automation solutions across SDLC workflows.
• Mentor and uplift engineering teams; drive adoption of best practices.
• Collaborate with Platform, Delivery, Testing, and Release teams to ensure secure, automated pipelines.
