Job summary

Absolute IT is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer in New Zealand to strengthen our security posture across enterprise environments. You will identify and remediate vulnerabilities, implement monitoring and incident response, and perform threat modeling and secure code reviews.

The role requires hands-on experience with OWASP Top 10, security tooling, and SIEM platforms, with a focus on defining security policies and ensuring compliance across systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a security engineer.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and common attack vectors.
• Familiarity with security tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit and SIEM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and remediate security vulnerabilities across systems.
• Implement security controls, monitoring and incident response processes.
