Scanpower is looking for a talented and experienced Design Estimator to join our Contracting Division based in Feilding. This role will be responsible for preparing designs for the construction of overhead and underground electrical reticulation systems and providing accurate cost estimates.
In this role, you will prepare detailed and accurate designs for approval and construction. You will ensure that designs are fit for purpose, meet all legislative and safety requirements, and align with customer expectations. Using tools such as Neara, AutoCAD, and ColdNet, you will complete projects within time and cost budgets while maintaining high-quality standards.
Additionally, you will liaise with customers, network owners, and field teams to ensure appropriate and approved designs, manage iterative design revisions, and accommodate changes to initial designs.
