About the role

Te Kura o Roto Ngahere | Forest Lake School operates a primary dual-medium structure encompassing both Rumaki (Māori-medium) and Auraki (English-medium) pathways. The Tumuaki Tuarua | Deputy Principal works in close partnership with the principal to provide strategic, educational, and operational leadership across the entire school.

The appointee will uphold the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, foster high-quality instructional practices across both pathways, ensure efficient day-to-day administrative and physical site operations, and nurture warm culture of care (Aahurutanga) for all tamariki, staff, and whānau.
