Job summary

Ponsonby Primary School in Auckland is seeking an experienced Deputy Principal to lead curriculum and assessment, and to support and grow our middle leadership while being highly visible and connected with staff and students. We are a vibrant, inclusive community serving Years 1–8, with a strong culture of care and high standards of teaching and learning.

The role involves leading curriculum change and shaping pedagogy within a collaborative team. Position commencing on 28 January 2027.

Qualifications

• Experienced school leader with a track record of improving teaching and learning.
• Ability to develop and implement curriculum and assessment practices.
• Strong experience in leading professional learning and staff development.
