Lumino The Dentists Botany is seeking a friendly and reliable Dental Assistant to join our busy, high-quality practice in central Auckland. This full-time role offers exposure to a wide range of dental procedures and a supportive team.

You will work chairside with clinicians, assist with room setup, sterilisation and infection control, and help create a welcoming experience for every patient. NZ work rights and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar clinical environment.
• Friendly, professional and caring approach to patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well as part of a busy, supportive team.
• Current New Zealand work rights.

Responsabilités

• Provide chairside support and help patients feel comfortable during treatment.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and materials for procedures.
• Sterilise instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Keep clinical areas clean, organised and ready for patients.
• Support the wider practice team with general duties as required.

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team at Lumino Botany on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy clinical environment, and takes pride in helping provide a positive and comfortable experience for every patient.

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll work closely with our clinicians and wider practice team to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while providing excellent patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing chairside support and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their treatment
• Preparing treatment rooms, instruments and materials for procedures
• Sterilising instruments and maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control
• Ensuring clinical areas are clean, organised and ready for patients
• Supporting the wider practice team with general duties as required
• Helping create a welcoming and positive experience for our patients

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or within a similar clinical environment
• A friendly, professional and caring approach to patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work well as part of a busy and supportive team
• A proactive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Current New Zealand work rights
