Job summary

Lumino Chartwell in Hamilton is seeking a compassionate and reliable Dental Assistant to join the team three days per week. You will support the clinical team, prepare rooms, and help deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Experience with dental practice software (EXACT) is advantageous, and applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand. A supportive, collaborative environment and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous Dental Assistant experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using dental practice software (EXACT experience advantageous).
• Strong typing skills.
• Genuine passion for patient care and creating positive patient experiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, reliable, and trustworthy with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Dental Assistant to become an integral part of our Chartwell branch in Hamilton. Working 3 days per week, this role offers the opportunity to support our clinical team helping deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Dental Assistant Responsibilities

• Supporting our clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining high standards of infection control
• Sterilising instruments and ensuring equipment is ready for use
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and treatment notes
• Monitoring and replenishing clinical supplies
• Helping create a safe, efficient, and well-organised clinical environment

Hours

• Monday 8:30am-3:30pm
• Wednesday 8.30am-3.30pm
• Friday: 8:30am-3:30pm
