Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, Receptionist, or in a similar healthcare support role.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and colleagues
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence using digital systems and practice management software
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilisation procedures
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain infection control standards
• Sterilise instruments and ensure equipment is ready for use
• Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment notes
• Monitor and replenish clinical supplies
• Create a safe, efficient, and well-organised clinical environment
• Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer service (Reception)
• Manage patient appointments and diaries
• Handle patient inquiries in person and by phone
• Process payments and daily banking
• Maintain accurate patient records and administration
• Support wider team to deliver a seamless patient experience
