Job summary

Lumino Leamington in Cambridge is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our practice. You will support clinicians, prepare rooms, manage bookings, and provide excellent patient service.

The role runs 36.25 hours per week across Tuesday to Friday, combining clinical and front-of-house tasks to deliver a seamless patient experience. Ideal candidates have experience in healthcare support, strong communication, and comfort with practice management software.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, Receptionist, or similar healthcare support role.
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence using digital systems and practice management software.
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilisation procedures.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• NZ work rights (eligibility to work in NZ).
• Previous dental industry experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Dental Assistant Responsibilities: Support clinicians, prepare treatment rooms, sterilise instruments, maintain records, monitor supplies, create a safe, efficient clinical environment.
• Reception Responsibilities: Greet patients, manage appointments, handle enquiries, process payments, maintain records, support the team for a seamless patient experience.
