Job summary

Lumino Como Street is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join the team on the North Shore. You will support clinicians during dental procedures, manage sterilisation, and help maintain best practice standards to ensure patient care excellence.

Work is 23 hours per week with set days, including Monday, Thursday and Friday, in a fast-paced, team-focused environment close to Takapuna. Training and patient-facing duties accompany clinical support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a must.
• Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in computer software applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Live locally or within a reasonable commuting distance of Birkenhead.

Job Description

Lumino Como Street is currently on the lookout for an experienced Dental Assistant to join the team!

As one of our Dental Assistants, you will work alongside our highly trained clinicians and other dental professionals to provide excellent patient care and support. You will be tasked with supporting our clinicians during various dental procedures and ensuring best practice standards are upheld and the best patient care is provided. You will also take control of tasks such as sterilisation and infection control, ensuring all instruments and equipment are processed and sterilised following best practice guidelines.

This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer service.
