Crowne Plaza Christchurch is seeking a Demi Chef to join our Kitchen team in the heart of downtown Christchurch. You will assist the executive chef in preparing, cooking and serving dishes to our high standard and help maintain HACCP-compliant hygiene and stock control.

We require at least 2 years of chef experience and a Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Culinary Skills. You’ll work the breakfast or dinner shift as needed and enjoy IHG employee discounts and full training.

Qualificações

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Chef.
• Diploma and/or Vocational Certificate in Culinary Skills or related field.
• Knowledge of a la carte and banquet service with modern and classical cooking techniques
• Problem solving, reasoning and training abilities.
• Ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the executive chef and kitchen team in preparing, cooking and serving dishes to Crowne Plaza Christchurch standard.
• Maintain food quality using recipes and photos provided.
• Maintain hygiene and ensure HACCP standards; update reports daily.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure correct quantities of food produced.
• Cover breakfast or dinner shift according to business needs.
