Job summary

Fonterra is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to enable one or more product or platform teams to deliver outcomes predictably in a transforming IT environment in New Zealand. You will coordinate delivery from backlog through to production, improve flow, and coach teams in Agile and DevSecOps practices.

You will drive cross‑team planning, manage delivery risks, align with roadmaps and OKRs, and provide visibility to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience leading delivery across multiple cross-functional teams.
• Experience facilitating scaled planning events and cross-team ceremonies.
• Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence or Planview.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Lean.

As a Delivery Lead, you will enable one or more product or platform teams to deliver outcomes predictably and sustainably. You will:

• Coordinate delivery from backlog through to production.
• Improve flow of work, throughput and work-in-progress metrics.
• Facilitate cross-team planning, synchronisation and Inspect and Adapt sessions.
• Identify and resolve risks, dependencies and systemic impediments.
• Align delivery with product roadmaps, OKRs and business priorities.
• Provide clear visibility of progress, outcomes, risks and trade-offs.
• Coach teams in Agile, Lean and promote DevSecOps practices.
• Support release readiness, governance and continuous improvement.

You are an experienced Agile delivery leader who brings:

• 5+ years’ experience leading delivery across multiple cross-functional teams.
• Proven delivery coordination from backlog through to production.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Lean, applied pragmatically rather than dogmatically.
• Experience facilitating scaled planning events and cross-team ceremonies.
• Confidence managing dependencies, delivery risks and release coordination.
• Hands‑on use of delivery and flow metrics to improve predictability and quality.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence without authority.
• Experience coaching Scrum Masters, Product Owners and delivery teams.
• Working knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD and modern delivery practices.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence or Planview.
• Clear communication across technical teams, business stakeholders and senior leaders.
• A recognised Agile certification; a relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
