Job summary

Chesters Plumbing & Bathroom Centre in Mount Maunganui is seeking a hands-on delivery assistant to manage the full delivery process, from picking and packing in the warehouse to loading the truck.

Deliveries to customers with care, arranging dispatch, and handling delivery documentation in a fast-paced, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Full NZ Class 1 driver licence (advantageous) with the ability to drive manual (essential)
• Forklift Licence (advantageous)
• Previous experience in the same or similar position (advantageous)
• Class 2 Licence (advantageous)
• A can-do attitude
• A friendly people person who enjoys going the extra mile
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A team player with great sense of humour

About The Role

Join our sunny Mount Maunganui team where you will be hands‑on with the full delivery process, from picking and packing orders in the warehouse, to loading the truck, and delivering goods to our customers with care and efficiency. You will also help arrange dispatch and manage the necessary delivery documentation. This is a physical, fast‑paced role that offers variety and the chance to get involved in all areas of a busy plumbing merchant.
