Job summary

Bapcor New Zealand is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to ensure timely automotive parts deliveries and on-site merchandising. You will be the friendly face of BNT, building trust with clients and delivering professional service.

Responsibilities include managing scheduled deliveries, some lifting, and assisting in-branch with customer service and inventory tasks. A full NZ driver’s licence is required and alternate Saturday work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or exposure to customer-facing roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Good typing speed and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work alternating Saturday mornings.
• Full New Zealand driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver automotive parts and consumables to customers and branches.
• Load and unload stock, ensuring goods are delivered in good condition with correct documentation.
• Follow scheduled routes and delivery timelines, optimizing time efficiency.
• Provide professional and courteous service during deliveries and represent the company positively.
• Record all information pertaining to customer credits, returns, and related documentation for processing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts during site visits and deliveries.
• Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through reliable service and attitude.
• Relay relevant market information, customer feedback, and competitor activity to the Branch Manager.

Job Description

A driver who wants to go the extra mile.

We're looking for a reliable, personable Delivery Driver to ensure timely delivery of automotive parts and effective on-site merchandising.

You’ll be the friendly face of BNT, genuinely personable and equipped with excellent communication skills, allowing you to build trust and nurture long‑term relationships with clients—ensuring each delivery reflects reliability, professionalism, and exceptional service.

You’ll manage scheduled deliveries, occasionally lifting items up to 20 kg, and assist in‑branch with customer service and inventory tasks such as, handling parts enquiries, restocking, and conducting stock counts.

You’ll need afull, cleanClass 1 NZ driver’s licence, a professional attitude, and physical capability for moderate lifting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver automotive parts and consumables to customers and branches.
• Load and unload stock, ensuring goods are delivered in good condition and with correct documentation.
• Follow scheduled routes and delivery timelines, optimizing time efficiency.
• Provide professional and courteous service during deliveries and represent the company positively.
• Accurately collect and record all information pertaining to customer credits, including product returns, reasons for return, condition of goods, and any supporting documentation, to ensure compliance with credit processing.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer contacts during site visits and deliveries.
• Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through reliable service and a helpful attitude.
• Proactively relay relevant market information, customer feedback, and competitor activity to the Branch Manager.

You will also have:

• Customer service experience or have had some exposure to customer facing roles, preferably in a product related sales environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A reasonable typing ability and computer literacy.
• The ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• The ability to work alternate Saturday mornings
• A full New Zealand driver’s licence.
