Job summary

New World Ilam in Christchurch is seeking a motivated Service Deli team member to assist with sandwich making and deli production, delivering high-quality foods and friendly service.

This permanent part-time role (32 hours across Mon, Wed, Thu and Sun 7am–3.30pm) requires a strong work ethic, good communication, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team while maintaining food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous food preparation experience (advantageous but not essential).
• Commitment to great customer service.

We’re looking for a motivated, energetic foodie to join our fantastic Service Deli team at New World Ilam. If you’re passionate about great food, love working with people, and thrive in a busy environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

You’ll be joining a large, supportive deli team dedicated to producing high‑quality products and delivering outstanding customer service. We’re after someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. This role will be focused on sandwich making and production of savoury products.
