Job summary

Compass Group New Zealand is seeking a reliable Storeperson to join our Waiouru Military Camp team. This permanent full-time role offers 40 guaranteed hours per week in a unique defence environment supporting NZDF personnel.

You will receive, store, manage and dispatch stock with a focus on accuracy, safety and efficient procedures. Experience in warehousing and good records management are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a storeperson, warehouse, inventory, or similar role.
• Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills.
• Computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties.
• Reliable team player who can work without supervision.
• Flexible and hardworking with pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, process, pick, package, and dispatch stock
• Maintain warehouse records and inventory
• Ensure FIFO storage procedures are followed
• Assist with monthly stocktakes and inventory management
• Maintain safe, clean, organised storage areas and equipment
• Follow all food safety, manual handling, health and safety procedures
