Auckland University of Technology (AUT) invites applications for the Head of School/Dean of Business to lead one of New Zealand's largest, internationally recognised business schools.

The role offers a 5-year term renewable by mutual agreement, with strategic leadership across teaching, research and engagement, and a focus on indigenous, equity and inclusion initiatives, Te Tiriti commitments, and maintaining AACSB and EQUIS accreditation.

Qualifications

• Senior academic leader with credibility to lead a large, complex Business School.
• Demonstrated track record in teaching, research and engagement at an international standard.
• Experience advancing diversity, equity and inclusion and Te Tiriti commitments.

Responsabilités

• Lead one of New Zealand's largest internationally accredited Business Schools at a pivotal moment.
• Shape the future of the Business School and its contribution across the University.
• Drive excellence in teaching, research and engagement with a focus on internationalisation and Māori and Pacific success.
• Grow research quality, impact and external funding through interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Build strategic partnerships with industry, alumni, government and communities.
• Lead transformational change and foster interdisciplinary collaboration within AUT.
