• Brings strong foundational teaching practice, particularly in visual scaffolding, explicit instruction and structured learning environments.
• Holds high expectations for every learner.
• Develops inclusive learning programmes informed by assessment and learner voice.
• Values Deaf culture and bilingual education in NZSL and English.
• Demonstrates a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
• Current NZ teacher practising certificate.
