Job summary

Infosys in Auckland seeks an experienced Data Migration Project Manager to lead large-scale data migration and modernisation programmes for Telecom clients. You will manage end-to-end migration from legacy systems to Snowflake/cloud platforms and work with onshore/offshore teams.

Ideal candidate brings 12–15 years IT experience in data migration, strong governance, stakeholder management, and hands-on data engineering collaboration across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of IT experience with data migration and data modernisation.
• Proven Snowflake, Teradata and Oracle experience.
• Experience delivering Teradata/Oracle to Snowflake migrations.
• Strong Data Warehousing, SQL, ETL/ELT, Data Quality and Data Governance.
• Strong Telecom domain experience.
• Excellent programme and stakeholder management and communication.
• Experience managing large, distributed teams.

• Lead end-to-end data migration and modernisation to Snowflake/cloud platforms.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and governance.
• Oversee data discovery, mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, Engineers, Business teams and partners.
• Provide updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Manage onshore/offshore delivery teams.
• Drive automation and AI-enabled approaches to delivery.

Infosys is looking for an experienced Data Migration Project Manager to lead large-scale data migration and modernisation programmes for leading Telecommunications customers.

The ideal candidate will combine strong programme management, technical data expertise, and Telecom domain experience, with proven experience across Teradata, Oracle, and Snowflake environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data migration and modernisation programmes from legacy platforms to Snowflake/cloud platforms.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and programme governance.
• Lead migration activities covering data discovery, mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover.
• Work closely with Data Architects, Engineers, Business teams, and technology partners.
• Provide programme updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders and executives.
• Manage onshore/offshore teams and multiple delivery workstreams.
• Drive automation and AI-enabled approaches to accelerate migration delivery.

Required Skills

• 12–15 years of IT experience with strong Data Migration / Data Modernisation experience.
• Proven experience with Snowflake, Teradata and Oracle.
• Experience delivering Teradata/Oracle to Snowflake or equivalent cloud migration programmes.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, SQL, ETL/ELT, Data Quality and Data Governance.
• Strong Telecom domain experience.
• Excellent programme management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience managing large, distributed teams and complex enterprise programmes.

Preferred: Azure/AWS/GCP, Databricks, dbt, Power BI/Tableau, Snowflake certification, and Agile/SAFe/PMP experience.

Ideal profile: A hands-on Data Programme Manager who can bridge business, functional and technical teams and confidently engage with both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
