Qualifications

• Significant experience building and operating modern cloud data platforms.
• Deep expertise in data engineering, orchestration, transformation, and data warehousing.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CI/CD, automation, containerisation, Kubernetes and platform engineering principles.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and hiring abilities with a collaborative style.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable, reliable data platforms, pipelines, and consumption models.
• Partner with software engineering to design data models and integration patterns for product capabilities.
• Own and evolve data infrastructure across Azure, GCP, Snowflake, and Terraform.
• Drive improvements in data quality, reliability, and observability.
• Review high-risk designs and production changes for observability and rollback readiness.
• Manage metadata, logging, retention, and access governance.
