Job summary

Amazon Data Services New Zealand Limited is seeking skilled Server/Network Technicians to support and expand AWS data centers in Auckland. You will install and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, collaborate with engineering and logistics teams, and work on site with rotating shifts to ensure continuous cloud operations.

Applicants should have hardware troubleshooting and networking experience, a high school diploma, and a willingness to be mobile across sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure racks of hosts in line with internal SLAs.
• Diagnose and repair issues for server, storage and network devices, including the physical replacement of parts.
• Remediation or recovery of physical power issues on racks and participate in Data Center power & cooling events.
• Shift work (4 days on and 4 days off including night shifts on a rotational basis).
• This position also has a physical component requiring the ability to lift and rack equipment using our lifting equipment.
