Job summary

Turuki Health Care in Auckland is seeking a Data and Reporting Lead to strengthen data quality, reporting capability and operational improvement across our Maaori health and social services network. Based in Manukau, this full-time role within our Data and Digital team will lead dashboards, improve data-driven decision making, and support funding compliance and service delivery.

  • Experience in data quality, reporting or business intelligence roles.
  • Strong skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
  • Experience designing dashboards and delivering operational reporting.
  • Experience with Medtech Evolution (highly desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data clearly to non-technical audiences.

We are looking for a skilled and relationship focused Data and Reporting Lead to help strengthen data quality, reporting capability and operational improvement across our organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining analytics, process improvement and people engagement to create meaningful impact in healthcare and social services.

We are looking for someone who is analytical, collaborative and passionate about improving outcomes through quality data.

You will bring:

  • Experience in data quality, reporting or business intelligence roles
  • Strong skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools
  • Experience designing dashboards and delivering operational reporting
  • Experience with Medtech Evolution (highly desirable)
  • The ability to identify and resolve data quality issues systematically
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Experience supporting process improvement and change initiatives
  • A coaching mindset with confidence training and supporting kaimahi
  • Experience in health, social services or NGO environments (highly desirable)
  • Full driver’s licence
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand
  • Clean criminal record

Knowledge of kaupapa Maaori approaches and the ability to work respectfully with Maaori, Pacific and diverse communities is important to this role.
