Job summary

Altis is seeking an experienced Data & Analytics leader in New Zealand for a Principal Consultant role. You will lead complex engagements, shape data architectures, and guide delivery across data strategy, engineering and analytics.

You'll mentor consultants, strengthen client relationships, support business development and help grow Altis' capability and presence in New Zealand. This role blends boardroom and delivery work and requires strong commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Breadth with meaningful technical depth across data domains.
• Experience leading data engagements for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to shape architectures and advise on data strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Data & Analytics engagements.
• Shape architecture and solution approaches for modern data platforms.
• Advise clients across data strategy, architecture, engineering and analytics.
• Lead quality and technical reviews.
• Mentor and develop consultants.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Partner with our commercial team to identify and shape new opportunities.
• Contribute to the continued development of our New Zealand practice.
