Placements24 is recruiting a meticulous Data Analyst for a well-established insurance provider operating across South Africa. Based in Queenstown with hybrid arrangements, you will collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to support operational decision-making and KPI reporting.

You will develop dashboards in Tableau/Power BI, work with SQL, Excel, and Python/R, and translate data into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within insurance or financial services.
• Strong proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Python/R).
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.

About the Role

Our client, a well-established insurance provider with operations across South Africa , is seeking a meticulous Data Analyst to join their operations team. This role will be based in Queenstown, Eastern Cape , with a hybrid work arrangement offering flexibility. You will be instrumental in collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets related to insurance operations, providing actionable insights to improve efficiency, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
