Job summary

Avanti Finance Group in Auckland is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. This role focuses on reporting, dashboard development, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to turn data into insights that support decision‑making.

You’ll work with Snowflake, Power BI, and Tableau to build dashboards, manipulate data from multiple sources, and contribute to BI initiatives across the business.

We're looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data &Analytics team!

This role is focused on reporting, dashboard development,data analysis and stakeholder engagement. You'll work closely with teams acrossthe business to understand reporting requirements, transform data into meaningful insights, and help deliver information that supports betterdecision-making.

We're open to a range of experience levels and areinterested in speaking with both capable junior analysts and intermediate-levelprofessionals. What matters most is your technical capability, analyticalthinking and ability to work effectively with stakeholders.

The role

As a Data Analyst, you'll support the ongoing development ofreporting and analytics capabilities across the business. You'll work withmodern analytics and visualisation tools, helping maintain reporting solutions,analyse business data, and provide insights that add value to operational andstrategic decision-making.

This is a hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity towork across a variety of analytics initiatives while building your skills andexperience within a supportive team environment.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with data andcan combine technical capability with strong communication skills.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experienceworking with Snowflake
• Experienceusing Power BI, Tableau, SAS Visual Analytics or similar reporting andvisualisation tools
• Strongdata analysis and data manipulation skills
• Theability to identify trends, patterns and opportunities within data
• Strongstakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Theability to explain data and insights to both technical and non-technicalaudiences
• Acollaborative approach and willingness to work closely with business teams
• Curiosity,initiative and a desire to continue learning
