Ministry for Primary Industries seeks a technically skilled Specialist Systems Auditor for a fixed-term role. You will audit dairy production systems across New Zealand, assess regulatory frameworks, and support international audits.

The role involves extensive travel and work with regulatory, industry and international stakeholders to uphold NZ's food safety and market access standards. Fixed-term until November 2027, based in major NZ cities with national coverage.

Qualifications

• Professional auditing qualifications or equivalent auditing experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory systems and dairy production preferred.
• Experience with New Zealand food safety or animal products regulation is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Undertake regulatory assurance and systems audits across New Zealand's dairy sector.
• Assess effectiveness of regulatory frameworks and verification systems for dairy products.
• Facilitate overseas competent authority audits and support accreditation bodies.
