Job summary

Bapcor New Zealand is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to ensure timely delivery of automotive parts and effective on-site merchandising. You’ll be the friendly face of BNT, building trust with clients and providing professional service.

You must have a full NZ driver’s licence, comfortable with moderate lifting, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Competitive salary with incentives offered.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or exposure to customer-facing roles, preferably in a product related sales environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A good typing ability and computer literacy
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• The ability to work alternate Saturday mornings
• A full New Zealand driver’s licence

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver automotive parts and consumables to customers and branches.
• Load and unload stock, ensuring goods are delivered in good condition and with correct documentation.
• Follow scheduled routes and delivery timelines, optimizing time efficiency.
• Provide professional and courteous service during deliveries and represent the company positively.
• Accurately collect and record all information pertaining to customer credits, including product returns, reasons for return, condition of goods, and any supporting documentation, to ensure compliance with credit processing.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer contacts during site visits and deliveries.
• Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through reliable service and a helpful attitude.
• Proactively relay relevant market information, customer feedback, and competitor activity to the Branch Manager.
